Pet Sitters Plus was established in 2008 by pet owners who believe their own pets are more than just pets, they are family!
My name is Christina Johnson. I am married to David Johnson, we have two daughters, Alexis age 10, and Brooklyn age 3, and 6 pets-Sammy, Falco, Napoleon, Tinkerbell, Ekko, and Spike!! My husband is a Police Officer. He has been with the department for 7 years. My previous employment includes medical assisting and insurance sales. My strong love for animals, and the desire to be self employed drove me to establish this business. This has been one of the best decisions I have ever made! Every day is something new, I establish wonderful relationships with pets of all kinds, and get to witness the huge array of animal personalities, which is always fascinating! I always look forward to seeing my animal friends!!
We were faced with the dilemma numerous times of worrying about who was going to care for our pets while we were away.
By the way, we have two dogs- Sammy, our pug, who was adopted from Kentuckiana Pug Rescue, and Falco who is a German Shepherd, two ferrets- Napoleon and Tinkerbell who were also adopted from Greater Chicagoland Ferret Association, one cockatiel- Ekko who we purchased soon after he was hatched by a small hobby breeder, and Spike who is a Bearded Dragon.
Tired of bothering friends, neighbors, and relatives to make several trips to our home daily to care for our animals, we realized how many people must feel the same way we did.
By starting this business, we help pet owners and pets of all kinds by providing peace of mind, and a fun, stress free environment for pets while their owners are away.
We offer daily updates on our visits, via phone or email.
We are insured and bonded through the Insurers of the Carolinas, and are a member of Pet Sitters International.
We can provide excellent references, and have been very blessed with having established such a wonderful, loyal client base!!
